Description

According to this source, Haiti has been politically unstable, and its people are suffering from violent coercion. This issue has attracted the United Nations to intervene in the matter with the aim of establishing sustainable peacebuilding initiatives to stabilize the country politically and security-wise. However, after the intervention, the outcomes did not bear good fruit because it triggered further violent contestation, predatory political economies, and social fragmentation due to the influence of the gangs.
