Description
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) completed four out of eight post-earthquake infrastructure activities in Haiti, with delays and cost overruns. Gaps in planning and results tracking were identified. Evaluations showed mixed results in key sectors, including governance. The Department of State's efforts on the Haitian National Police lacked outcome evaluations. USAID's support for local organizations in Haiti is hampered by limited funding and inadequate data tracking, hindering knowledge and understanding for future activities.
