The Integrated Country Strategy (ICS) is a multi-year plan that articulates the U.S. priorities in a given country. In Venezuela's situation, the mission goals are as follows: Restore democracy to Venezuela through free and fair presidential and parliamentary elections and the re-institutionalization of all governance structures; Maintain an international coalition to hold the Maduro regime accountable and apply pressure for a democratic transition; Maintain economic pressure (including by leveraging economic incentives) on the Venezuelan regime to support a return of democracy to Venezuela.
