1,336 asylum applications by refugees were received in 2020 in Denmark - according to UNHCR. Most of them came from Syria, Eritrea and from Morocco. A total of 705 decisions have been made on initial applications. Which were around 29% answered positively. 71 percent of asylum applications have been rejected in the first instance. Most successful have been the applications of refugees from Yemen and from Eritrea.
