La presente investigación, denominada: Propuesta del modelo de desarrollo sostenible para la zona altoandina del Perú, tuvo como objetivo general, analizar la contribución a nuestro desarrollo sostenible de un ferrocarril tan importante en la lucha contra la pobreza, por el servicio que presta en su área de influencia, que se caracteriza por ser una zona eminentemente agrícola y minera, y con poblaciones de diversas comunidades campesinas. He ahí la importancia de nuestra investigación, pues se trató de ver y comprobar la actual situación en que se encuentra el ferrocarril dado su alto valor social y contribución para el Estado en la lucha contra la pobreza. Lo cierto es que se determinó en el presente estudio que el ferrocarril Huancayo - Huancavelica viene funcionando con muchas limitaciones, que le obligan a suspender su servicio en múltiples ocasiones y momentos.
Abstract (translated):
This research, called: Proposal for the development model sustainable for the high-Andean area of Peru, had as its general objective, to analyzethe contribution to our sustainable development of such an important railroad in the fight against poverty, for the service it provides in its area of influence, which is characterized by being an eminently agricultural and mining area, and with populations from various peasant communities. That's the importance of our investigation, because we tried to see and verify the current situation in which finds the railway due to its high social value and contribution to the State in the fight against poverty. The truth is that it was determined in the present study that the Huancayo - Huancavelica railway has been operating with many limitations, that force you to suspend your service on multiple occasions and at multiple times.
