Description

One fundamental problem with Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) transmission is the issue of gaps in transmissions. This report provides a spatial statistical model to identify gaps in AIS transmission, within the Arafura Sea, which allows calculation of the probability that a given gap is due to intentional disabling.
