Haiti has the highest HIV burden in the Caribbean region with an estimated 150,000 people living with HIV (UNAIDS, 2021). The country also has the highest incidence of tuberculosis in the region, further compounding the HIV epidemic (WHO TB Burden Estimates, 2021). There are multiple aspects to Haiti's political and economic situation, this report highlights a myriad of challenges that Haiti has been facing.
