Description
The purpose of this “health systems for Health” framework is to support countries, WHO and partners in bringing together capacities required for the IHR, and components of health systems and other sectors for multisectoral, multidisciplinary, effective management of health emergencies. It is an innovative approach that complements existing concepts and tools for global Health capacity-building, and covers different types of risks arising from biological and non-biological hazards and events.
