Description
That by Decree N ° 577/17 the CIBERSEGURITY COMMITTEE was created in the orbit of the then MINISTRY OF MODERNIZATION, made up of representatives of the aforementioned Ministry, of the MINISTRY OF DEFENSE and the MINISTRY OF SECURITY, whose objective is to prepare the National Cybersecurity Strategy. That by Decree N ° 801/18 various Ministries were merged in order to centralize the powers in a smaller number of Jurisdictions and article 8 of Title II of the Ministries Law ( text ordered by Decree was replaced N ° 438/92 ) and its amendments, establishing that each Ministry may propose to the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE POWER the creation, among others, of the Government Secretariats, whose functions will be determined by decree. That in this context, Decree N ° 802/18 created, among others, the position of Secretary of Government for Modernization, to which the powers of the then MINISTRY OF MODERNIZATION were assigned.
