Criminal Justice Response to Human Trafficking in Pakistan

Kamran Adil, Research Society of International Law

Description

The economy, crime, and violence are all interrelated. Through the Global Peace Indices, published for more than ten years, there have been attempts worldwide to research the relationship between violence and peace. After locating the most active areas of TIP, it is necessary to act on the preventative side by involving the community because Pakistan's criminal justice response is primarily detection-based. Different preventive initiatives must serve children and women, and by enhancing law enforcement's capabilities, it will be possible to promote the referral system where substitutes to the use of the criminal justice system are located.
