This report by the World Nuclear Association provides details about the diffferent areas of Brazil's energy sector. Brazil has two nuclear reactors that generate about 3% of its electricity. Construction of the Brazil's 3rd nuclear power reactor was recommended in November 2022 after being stalled for over seven years. In April 2023 following orders from the municial government of angra dos Reis construction was once again suspended.
