Teaching Shakespeare in Diverse Communities includes two separate days of workshops and events. On Friday, October 14, we welcome high school teachers of Shakespeare from around the county to FIU for a day of learning and development. Then on Saturday, October 15, college and university professors from around Florida will gather at FIU for a mini-conference.

For both days, our special guests and invited speakers are Ayanna Thompson (George Washington University) and Carla Della Gatta (University of Southern California), specialists in diversity studies and Shakespeare. To read more about the event and speakers,
