Who Can Submit

Submissions to International Is Our Middle Name: Oral Histories of FIU are limited to graduate students enrolled in the EDH6061 Oral History Project at Florida International University. Only oral histories conducted as part of this course may be submitted. For additional information, please contact dcc@fiu.edu.

Removal

Interviewees have the right to request the removal of their oral history at any time. To request removal, please contact dcc@fiu.edu. Upon removal, a citation to the original version of the interview may still remain on the site.

Requests for updates (e.g., replacing a file due to audio quality issues) should also be sent to dcc@fiu.edu.

Author Review

Submitters may have an opportunity to review their submission before it is made publicly available. Please ensure that all metadata, files, and permissions are correct before submitting.

Rights and Permissions

Florida International University holds the rights to the oral history recordings submitted to this collection. However, interviewees may request modifications to their interview at any time by contacting dcc@fiu.edu.

Before submitting, ensure that all necessary permissions have been secured. Both the interviewer and interviewee must complete and submit signed release forms, which should be uploaded as supplemental files and marked as "hidden" during the submission process.

Submissions must follow the citation format as automatically generated by Digital Commons metadata.
