Biography
Edward Pritchard is from Jupiter, Florida in Palm Beach County. He has always had an interest in marine conservation efforts, starting in his childhood when he experienced sea turtles nesting on the beach with his father. He has managed several conservation programs in South Florida, from sharks to sea turtles, and has a vested interest in keeping our oceans clean and protecting our wildlife, as seen by his previous work at places such as Beneath the Waves and Loggerhead Marinelife Center, respectively. He did his undergraduate at the University of Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. He then moved to Miami where he received his Master of Professional Science in Marine Ecosystems and Society at the University of Miami. He is currently working for Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces in Marine and Coastal Conservation Programs Management.
