Description
The purpose of this qualitative study was to gain knowledge of the phenomenon of double dose reading classes. A reading coach and a reading teacher were interviewed. Data revealed teachers navigate a complicated set of negotiations in order to deliver quality instruction while simultaneously satisfying mandated requirements from supervisors.
