Dr. Raúl Moncarz has published more than 100 articles and books and developed a successful academic career that led him to occupy responsibilities at the university level, both as a professor and in administration. His international assignments have been very numerous, having served as Visiting Professor in Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, and Honduras. He has also been a lecturer and consultant in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and El Salvador. He received an Honorary Provost award at the Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (UTH) and the Fulbright Scholarship to El Salvador and Argentina. In addition to teaching, he reached senior positions at the Biscayne Bay Campus of Florida International University (FIU), having retired as Vice Provost. He is currently Professor Emeritus at said university. Dr. Moncarz holds a Deputy Secretary position at the Board of Directors of the Cuban-Hebrew Congregation of Miami, a Chairmanship at the Dr. Antonio Jorge Social and Economic Development Council (SEDC), and an appointment at the Cryptocurrency Task Force of Miami-Dade County. He is a consultant for various academic journals and national and international organizations, and he is a prominent community activist. Finally, Dr. Moncarz's advocacy for Miami-Dade County elementary and high school students drives him to promote and organize presentations to raise awareness about Economics and Finance, Cuban, Latin American, and Jewish history and traditions.
