FALL 2022
November 10th
Join us in a day of networking, fostering community, identifying opportunities for collaborations, and recognizing our undergraduate researchers. Undergraduate Research Symposium is an annual event hosted by the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department to showcase undergraduate research and give our students the opportunity to gain valuable feedback on their work, practice science communication skills, and to make an impact on other students who may be wondering whether to join FIU’s research community. In addition, keynote speakers, including FIU Alumni, local industry, and National Lab researchers, have addressed the community with words of advice to guide students on their future paths.
FIU undergraduate students conducting research related to mechanics and materials are encouraged to submit an abstract for an oral presentation.
