Teachers as learners: Pathways into widespread classroom implementation of thinking education

Around the world, there are many initiatives and approaches, aiming at the development of students’ thinking. Many remain ‘pedagogic islands’- , not finding their way into widespread classroom use. Numerous activities are fleeting, contributing to fragmented approaches and marginalization of initiatives. Resulting in little effects on students’ learning. How can we encourage widespread classroom implementation of thinking education? In this talk, I introduce insights into issues related to widespread classroom implementation of thinking education.
