Description / Descripción
An exploration of how thinking-based learning can help students develop ways of learning that, in contrast to simple memory-based learning, can involve their accessing relevant past experiences and prior knowledge to construct rich and deep understandings of what they are learning about, and how this can lead to students learning to learn in this way as their primary way of learning new things. In this presentation, however, we will contrast this with traditional constructivism by showing how the viability of this process requires the use of critical-thinking based confirmation skills. Interactive workshop through lesson demonstrations
