Abstract

In the wake of the pandemic, libraries have emerged as essential community hubs, adapting swiftly to the changing landscape but not without new stress and anxiety. This presentation will be an opportunity to release stress using evidence-based practices including breathing and meditation. Attendees will be guided through playful exercises (no bending required, no special clothing needed) combined with mindful meditation and deep breathing. Come to learn some relaxation techniques that can be employed for your personal use, shared with colleagues, and/or used in library programming.
