Robert Farris Thompson is an expert of art history of the Afro-Atlantic World. He is the Colonel John Trumbull Professor of Art History at Yale University. He is the author of many works including Black Gods and Kings, African Art in Motion, Flash of the Spirit, Face of the Gods, and Tango the Art History of Love.
