Biography
Asif Alam is a Presidential Scholar and Electrical Engineering student at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, FL. He is President of the Engineering Research Society, a member of FIU’s Honors College, and has authored multiple publications. He holds two patents, one of which earned a gold medal at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva for being the best global solution. He previously conducted research at the Integrated Microwave Systems Laboratory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His interests include millimeter-wave and on-chip antennas, SIW technology, and advanced millimeter-wave design techniques.

Biography
Hello my name is Jhoan Gonzales! I am a Biomedical Engineer and serve as the Co-founder/ Vice President of Engineering Research Society. I am very involved with various activities on-and-off campus from teaching robotics, Coding, and even playing music! Thanks to my curious mind quests it has led to continue participating in ongoing research at the FIU Undergrad Research Journal, Optical Imaging Lab, and through the NASA L'SPACE Academy, working with Ai Autonomy and Space Robotics projects that can impact Earth, Moon, and Mars! The Vision I share with ERS is for you to enjoy the wonderful research being done across ERS and diverse into how different research technologies are affecting tech industry, healthcare, and even the machines that power our universe.
