RET and FIU Teach field day - Cathy Laroche (RET, Felix Varela High School), Venus Garcia (FIU QBIC Undergraduate), John Kominoski, Priscilla Brown (FIU Teach Undergraduate), Sean Charles (FIU Ph.D Student). In order to better understand the spatial variation in phosphorus allocation in coastal wetlands, we collected samples of plant leaves and soils, and measured plant height and water salinity in mangrove wetlands from interior to coastal fringe.
