Event Description
This lecture by Maikel Farinas Borrego explores the creation of Rotary Clubs in Cuba, and the motivations for urban businessmen to form and join these organizations. Farinas Borrego is a PhD candidate in History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the first recipient of the Eliana Rivero Scholarship in Cuban Studies at FIU.
