Abstract
The American Journal of Non-Communicable Diseases continues its mission to amplify high-quality, policy-relevant research on chronic disease surveillance, epidemiology, and prevention across the Americas. Volume 2, Issue 1 brings together three compelling contributions that deepen our understanding of metabolic health, behavioral risk factors, and the mortality burden associated with obesity—three domains central to the region’s escalating NCD crisis.
