Tutelar la soberanía del que lee (y juega). Una reflexión inspirada en Walter Benjamin

Resumen
En este artículo se trabaja sobre dos grandes temas: quiénes son los lectores pequeños y cómo leen durante su primera infancia. La pregunta por esos lectores es, en definitiva, la pregunta por la literatura infantil, por la construcción de la metáfora y el sentido del arte (y del juego). A partir de algunas reflexiones de Walter Benjamin, se deconstruyen formas de la mediación lectora y se revisa el canon para los más pequeños. Benjamin supone que los grandes vigilan el “mundo de la percepción de los niños”; clasificar libros para los inclasificables niños puede ser una tarea ligada a la belleza… o a la vigilancia. ¿Cómo se emancipan los pequeños lectores en las interacciones de la necesaria mediación adulta?
Abstract
In this article we work on two great matters: who the young readers are and how they read during their early childhood. The question for those readers is, ultimately, the question for children's literature, for the construction of the metaphor and the sense of art (and play). From various reflections by Walter Benjamin, several forms of mediated reading are deconstructed and the canon for younger kids is re-evaluated. Benjamin believes that the adults guard the “world of children's perceptions”; classifying books for the unclassifiable children can be a task linked to beauty… or surveillance. ¿How do young readers emancipate in the interactions of the necessary adult mediation?
