Lectura En Crisis: La Importancia De La Experiencia De Lo Sensible

La lectura es una práctica que tiene mucho de sensorial, no solo por la decodificación de los signos, sino también por otros elementos asociados a la práctica que la enriquecen. Cuando se trata de libros dirigidos a niños y niñas, la experiencia de lectura se hace aún más sensitiva: las materialidades de las publicaciones, sus dimensiones, el tipo de papel, los elementos adicionales en sus tapas, la encuadernación, entre otros elementos, enriquecen la experiencia sensible de lectura. El aumento de las publicaciones digitales provocados por la reciente crisis sanitaria, y la tentación por digitalizarlo todo, ponen en juego estas experiencias sensibles de lectura. Sin embargo, hay elementos que no perderán terreno ante la inminente digitalización. Finalmente, tanto libros físicos como digitales sabrán convivir en un mundo en crisis y cambio.
Abstract
Reading is a practice that is very sensory, not only because of the decoding of the signs, but also because of other elements associated with the practice that enrich it. When it comes to books aimed at boys and girls, the reading experience becomes even more sensitive: the materialities of the publications, their dimensions, the type of paper, the additional elements in their covers, the binding, among other elements, enrich the sensitive reading experience. The increase in digital publications caused by the recent health crisis, and the temptation to digitize everything, put these sensitive reading experiences into play. However, there are elements that will not lose ground in the face of imminent digitization. Finally, both physical and digital books will know how to coexist in a world in crisis and change.
