Abstract / Abstracto

El presente trabajo tiene la finalidad, por una parte, de argumentar la relevancia de favorecer el desarrollo de la lectura y la escritura académicas durante la formación doctoral mediante el proceso de dirección de tesis y, por otra, de abordar las propuestas generadas a partir de la investigación que aportan intervenciones educativas que el director de tesis puede llevar a cabo para coadyuvar a dicho desarrollo. En esta lógica, al inicio de este trabajo se describen características relevantes de la lectura y de la escritura académicas durante la investigación doctoral, luego se especifican las dificultades que enfrentan los estudiantes de doctorado para aplicarlas en investigación y, finalmente, se abordan las posibles intervenciones educativas que puede efectuar el director de tesis para fortalecer estos procesos académicos en la formación de investigadores.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is, on the one hand, to argue the relevance of promoting the development of academic reading and writing during doctoral training through the process of supervision and, on the other, to address the proposals generated from the research that provide educational interventions that the supervisor can carry out to contribute to this development. In this sense, at the beginning of this work relevant characteristics of academic reading and writing during doctoral research are described, later the difficulties that doctoral students face in applying them in research are specified. Finally, possible educational interventions that the supervisor can carry out to strengthen these academic processes in the training of researchers are discussed.
