Tras la huella de las palabras y las imágenes en el libro infantil

Resumen
El libro álbum con texto, el libro álbum sin palabras y el libro ilustrado son tres tipos de obras destinadas para el público infantil. Tanto el libro álbum con texto como el libro ilustrado contienen palabras e imágenes en las historias que quieren contar; no obstante, son considerados distintos, de acuerdo con la relación que se establece entre las palabras y las imágenes. El libro álbum sin palabras sí contiene texto, pero solo para ofrecer datos informativos del libro en la portada, lomo, contraportada, entre otros. Para distinguir los tres tipos de obras se retomaron los aportes teóricos de Áron Kibédi, Evelyn Arizpe y Uri Shulevitz. La consulta de estos documentos permitió identificar los rasgos del libro álbum con texto, libro álbum sin palabras y libro ilustrado.
Abstract
The picture book with text, the picture book without words and the illustrated book are three types of works meant for a child audience. Both the picture book with text and the illustrated book contain words and pictures in the stories they want to tell; however, it is considered that they are different according to the relation that is established between the words and the pictures. The picture book without words does contain text, but only to offer information about the book in the cover, spine, back cover, among others. To distinguish these three types of works, the theoretical contributions of Áron Kibédi, Evelyn Arizpe and Uri Shulevitz were resumed. The inquiry of these documents allowed to identify the characteristics of the picturebook with text, the picturebook without words and the illustrated-book.
