Students Demand Action

We propose to create a movement led and directed by students to promote thoughtful debate and action leading to increased gun sense in America. We want to feel safe in our schools and to have our voices heard by policy makers, politicians and other decision makers who are involved with creating and amending laws and policies surrounding the use of weapons in this country. Our goals are to educate young people on their rights, and get them actively involved in peaceful protest, thoughtful discourse, creative problem solving, and the use of social media to promote a climate of peace and security for everyone.
