Abstract

Presentation given to new cohorts of interns during the lifetime of the Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab-FIU's Mellon-funded "Community Data Curation: Preserving, Creating, and Narrating Everyday Stories" project. Covers the basics of digital archiving, from scanning to metadata creation, as well as some information on oral history equipment and best practice. Presentation was first given in Spring 2022, and updated periodically over the lifetime of the grant.
