Florida International University’s Institutional Repository (IR) is an open access platform for preserving and sharing the scholarly and creative output of the university. It provides long-term access to research produced by FIU faculty, students, and affiliated research centers, including articles, theses and dissertations, reports, conference materials, and other scholarly works.The IR serves as a centralized access point, supporting broad dissemination of FIU scholarship, ensures stable and persistent access to research outputs, and contributes to the public record of the university’s intellectual activity.
The mission of the FIU Institutional Repository is to collect, preserve, and provide open access to the scholarly record of Florida International University. By stewarding research outputs in a trusted digital environment, the repository supports teaching, research, and public access to knowledge.

FIU's IR accepts contributions from FIU faculty, students, staff, and affiliated research units. Materials may be deposited directly by authors or submitted in coordination with FIU Libraries. The Institutional Repository is hosted on the TIND IR platform and is managed by Florida International University Libraries.
