Description / Descripción

In a fast-changing world, it is imperative to acknowledge that unless we understand the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) on young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds (nearly 160 million in India), they will fail to thrive in a complex, uncertain future. No amount of education and skills training is going to help a young person make choices that are better for their own well-being, the environment and the well-being of entire societies, unless we can help them develop Life Skills. We will share Dream a Dream’s experience of having worked with thousands of young people in India and helping them overcome adversity, catch up to their development milestones, leap-frog into a future with purpose, creativity, empathy, responsibility and social consciousness and finally learn to Thrive in the 21st century.
