The 2018 International Conference on Thinking (ICOT) provides the opportunity to explore one of the salient big questions of the conference “How do we foster dispositions that support thoughtful learning and understanding across disciplines?” These presenters, a cross-sample of teachers at different grade levels at Charles Wyche Elementary School in Miami, Florida, an internationally recognized School of Excellence in Habits of Mind by the Institute for Habits of Mind, will share the different ways they are putting Habits of Mind and Video Animations to use through interactive learning experiences in order to create a learning environment conducive to the acquisition of subject matter, skills, and habits of mind.
