Dave Hickey is an American art and cultural critics. He has written for many American publications including Rolling Stone, Art News, Art in America, Artforum, Harpers Magazine, Vanity Fair, New York Times and Los Angeles Times. He has published several books, including Air Guitar: Essays on Art and Democracy, The Invisible Drago: Four Essays on Beauty, and Pirates and Farmers: Essays on Taste.
