The education challenges for the 21st Century has pushed educators, psychologists, neuroscientists, and policy makers to rethink that way we teach and structure our learning experiences. Digital natives have grown in a reality that sometimes previous generations don’t understand. In order to respond new needs society has for schools, we need to shift our mindsets to understand what it means to promote critical thinkers. Now more than ever content is not a valued as much what to do with it, now more than ever creative and problem solving is key for any profession that will be performed in the future. Educators need to leverage their practices in order to became active designers of their student’s future. During this workshop participants will learn about shifts that need to be done in their own thinking in order to respond to global challenges in education.
