Event Description
This lecture by Liliana Casanella Cue explores the lyrics of the Cuban guaracha, and how it represents in the formation, visbilization, and legimitation of lo cubano (Cubanness). Casanella Cue is a researcher at the Center for Research and Development of Cuban Music in Havana, and a recipient of the 2016 Diaz-Ayala Library Travel Grant at FIU.
