Event Description
This event promotes a book presentation by Julia E. Sweig, Ph.D., of her book "Cuba:Everyone Needs to Know". This book provides a guide to Cuba's politics, its complex relationship with the United States, and its changing role in the global community. Sweig is a Nelson and David Rockefeller Senior Fellow for Latin American Studies and Director for Latin American Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations.
